Description This is a pair of Afghan wood shoes "which are flat across the top and have fibre and rope wrapped around them through which the feet go in like sandals."[1] They form part of the permanent collection of UBC's Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, Canada, where its catalogue number is 1187/15 a-b.
