Here’s a full schedule of all the goodness we have in store.

Day 1: Thursday, September 26th

2:00pm – 4:00pm Check-In and Settle

Arrive, unload belongings, park on the road, hike up to the property, and check in. Settle into your space and prepare for our welcoming intention ceremony.

 

7:00pm – 7:45pm Light Meal

Light meal will be provided at 7:00pm.

 

8:00pm – 9:00pm Circle Sit

INTENTION SETTING

We will circle together to speak intentions for our FoRest Retreat experience and share in ceremony with tea (Please bring your journal and tea mug).

 

Days 2 & 3: September 27th and 28th

7:30am – 8:15am Tea and Journaling

SETTLE IN

Wake and gather under the pines to begin our daily immersion and communion with the beautiful Big Sur forest. Melinda will be serving tea and leading us though a morning journaling session. Each tea will be intuitively crafted herbal blends by Kristen Yogi. Each blend is infused with intention to support holistic healing and grounding.

 

8:30am – 9:30am Yoga & Meditation with Live Music

WAKING, WARMING and INVIGORATING FLOW WITH LIVE MUSIC

We will flow into our all levels awakening and invigorating yoga with Melinda accompanied by a live, sonic journey facilitated by Vince Cimo. This experience is designed to softly invite you into wakefulness; gifting you with energy and presence for the remainder of your day’s journey. Following the flow, you will be guided deep into a meditation.

9:30am – 10:30am Breakfast

 

11:00am – 4:00pm Free Time / Silent Reflection

4:00pm – 6:00pm Live Music & Dance Movement

DANCE FLOW WITH LIVE SOUND CREATION

Dara offers a holistic approach to healing with a two-hour breathwork and movement session designed to help you connect with your inner self and process emotions. The following day, join a one-hour session to dance in the mud, gathering grief and growing gratitude. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to release emotional tension, ground yourself in nature, and foster a deep sense of connection and healing. Embrace the transformative power of breath, movement, and nature to enhance your emotional well-being and cultivate gratitude.

5:00pm – 5:30pm Sound Bath (Saturday)

Following the dance movement, we will cozy up and return to grounding with a unique sound bath experience, utilizing tibetan singing bowls, flute and live sound manipulation.

6:00pm – 7:00pm Dinner

***All food will be vegan and meals will support the aim and intention of the weekend, celebrating purposeful community-building and lively discussions.***

 

8:00pm – 10:00pm Fire/Share/Drumming (Friday Night)

As the sun sets and the moon rises, we will circle together with drums, fire and open hearts. Melinda will invite and lead us through optional sharing, followed by led drumming with Jill to deepen our connection to the heartbeat of the earth & spirit of the forest. Drums will be provided.

 

8:00pm – 10:00pm Fireside Concert (Saturday Night)

Join Vince Cimo for a fireside acoustic set of original music.

Day 4: Sunday, Sept. 29th

9:00am – 11:00am Breakfast and Closing Circle

Our final gathering before departure. We will nourish ourselves and share our experience. Following our final circle there will be time to pack up and say goodbyes.
